AXA Investment Managers announces two senior appointments within its Research team
AXA Investment Managers (AXA IM) today announced two appointments to its Research team, aiming to further strengthen its macroeconomic expertise.
- François Cabau is appointed Senior Eurozone Economist, already effective. He is joining from Barclays in London where he was Director-Senior European Economist and work jointly with Hugo Le Damany, Economist, on Eurozone-related topics.
- Claire Dissaux is appointed Senior Sovereign Emerging Market Credit Analyst, already effective. She joined from Millennium Global where she was most recently Head of Global Economics & Strategy.
They are both based in Paris and report to David Page, Head of Macro Research.
Biographies
François Cabau
François Cabau began his career at Société Générale CIB as Research Associate. In 2010, he joined Barclays in London as European Economist, then as Senior European Economist in 2014 before being appointed Director – Senior European Economist in 2018.
François Cabau holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and English from Nanterre University and a Master of Science in Global Economics Diagnosis from Dauphine University.
Claire Dissaux
Claire Dissaux began her career in 1995, working as Economist for the Ministry of Finance, prior being appointed in 1997 as Country Risk Analyst at Société Générale. She joined Crédit Agricole Indosuez as Emerging Market Economist in 1998, then as Head of Emerging Market Strategy in 2001. In 2007, she joined Millennium Global as Head of Global Economics & Strategy.
Claire Dissaux graduated as Economist and Statistician from ENSAE. She also holds a Bachelor degree in Mathematics from Paris VI Pierre and Marie Curie University and a DEA in Macroeconomics, Modelling and Short-term Forecasting from Paris I Pantheon-Sorbonne University.
